Campakalata devi dasi was raised in a Krishna conscious environment and taught with an education model based on individualised learning She began her teaching service at the age of 15. Coached under her mother, Urmila devi dasi's careful guidance, Campakalata adopted individualised style of teaching as her life's work. She has been teaching academics and Bharatanatyam dance since 1995.
